IT outsourcing that does not feel like outsourcing
Most organizations do not outsource IT to save money. They do it because the work has outgrown the people available to do it, and hiring is slow, expensive and uncertain. AIS provides IT outsourcing in Indianapolis and across Indiana. Outsourcing solves that faster, but only if the provider behaves like part of your organization rather than a vendor you file tickets with.
IT outsourcing means handing some or all of your technology operations to an outside team. AIS either runs the full function or extends the staff you already have, covering help desk, infrastructure, security, project delivery and IT leadership.
We take on as much or as little as the situation requires. There is no standard package you have to fit into.
24/7/365 monitoring and help desk coverage with people who learn your environment, your applications and your naming conventions, rather than starting cold on every call.
Servers, network, endpoints, cloud environments, patching and monitoring, owned and maintained rather than reacted to.
Monitoring, detection and response, plus the controls and evidence your insurers, auditors and clients expect.
Hardware, licensing and third-party vendors handled, including holding those vendors to their commitments.
Roadmap, budget and risk, so outsourcing does not mean giving up direction over your own technology.
AIS is your IT department. Common when there is no internal team, or when one person is carrying more than any one person should.
Your team keeps what it does well. We take after-hours coverage, escalation, project capacity and the tooling a small team cannot justify buying alone. Most mid-market organizations start here.
A defined piece of work with a defined end. A migration, a network build, a compliance platform. No ongoing commitment required.
Sometimes the answer is not a service, it is a person. IT staff augmentation places experienced AIS engineers and consultants directly inside your team, on your priorities, under your direction, for as long as the need exists. It fills a skills gap or a headcount gap without the hiring cycle, and without the commitment of a permanent role.
Infrastructure engineers, cloud specialists, analytics consultants and project resources who work as part of your organization rather than alongside it. AIS has kept embedded staff inside a global pharmaceutical R&D campus across consecutive contract extensions, which is what staff augmentation looks like when it works.
Choose staff augmentation services when you need capability inside your own structure and processes.
Choose outsourcing when you want AIS to own the outcome. Many clients run both at once, and the honest conversation about which fits is where we start.
Nights, weekends, holidays and the week your one IT person takes leave.
Security, cloud architecture and automation are specialist skills. Most organizations cannot justify a full-time hire for each, and cannot afford to have none.
When one person holds all the institutional knowledge, their resignation is an operational event.
Teams stuck firefighting never get to the work that stops the fires.
We start by understanding what exists, not by proposing what to replace. The first engagement is usually an assessment, and it frequently concludes that less needs replacing than the client expected. We document as we go, so the knowledge lives in your organization rather than only in ours. And we stay accountable for outcomes rather than ticket volume, because closing tickets quickly and solving problems permanently are different things.
We will tell you honestly whether outsourcing is the right answer, and what we would do about it if it is.
Start a conversationManaged services usually means a defined recurring scope. Outsourcing is broader and can include people working alongside your team, project delivery and technology leadership. AIS does both under one relationship.
Not unless you want it to. Most AIS relationships are co-managed, where the internal team keeps what it does well and AIS covers after hours, escalation and project capacity.
Yes. AIS has placed technical staff for infrastructure, application development and program management work, including at large public venues and manufacturers.
Recurring agreements are priced per user or per device against a defined scope. Project and staffing work is quoted separately. Pricing follows an assessment rather than preceding it.
AIS coordinates them. Vendor management is part of the scope, and it often removes more work from an internal team than the help desk does.
Tell us what you’re dealing with. We’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit, and what we’d do about it if we are.
